I drew this logo for 3 my university friends, in particular for the same project of vehicle design that I'm doing too. I thought to match the citycar profile with a light bulb because the name Pico recall the famous philosopher know like Pico della Mirandola. He had a very big memory and was a very shine mind. So I created this logo!!!

I can see your enthusiasm in logo design. You are on the right track of logo design, using concepts to design a logo that is not only beautiful but meaningful.
This logo that you design, is good in the concept but the final logo is not working very well. When i first saw the logo, i couldn't tell you are using light bulb at the end of the car symbol. It looks like smoke coming out of the exhaust or something hanging which is really distracting.
Something to think about, the name Pico associates with a famous philosopher but the car in itself does not. Therefore is it good to associate the lightbulb symbol with the car?
And to make the logotype stand out, use a different typeface for the word,"Citycar Brillante"
